Yes, yes it is. Now, this makes this Monday worthwhile.




Thanks to Sandy Ramsey over at Mother of Imperfection for the Liebster high five. It's a great feeling knowing that my blog colleagues see value in what I do. Gotta be honest, today was a hectic day. But seeing that email in my inbox gave me the extra boost I needed to get everything done.

So, without further ado (in other words, get on with it)...here's the to do's"

Where were you born and do you still live there?
I was born in teeny tiny lil town called Cochran and no way, I don't still live there!

What is your blog about?
Imperfect child of God, wife, mother, career person, just some of the roles I hold. I figured I couldn't be the only woman out there trying to balance all of that. Around the beginning of 2013, I got rid of the balancing act and started working on just trying to blend everything. They all tend to overlap anyway! That blending act overlapped into the creation of Gladiator in Heels.

What is your favorite character trait about yourself?
I consider myself to be loyal (until I am shown reasons not to be).

What is your favorite character trait about your significant other (husband/boyfriend/partner/BFF, dog)?
My husband has great integrity. He works hard, never comprises who he is, is completely comfortable in his own skin.

Why did you start blogging?
Originally, I needed an outlet. Then I figured, there is no way I can be the only woman on the planet facing the things I face every day. See question above "What is your blog about?"

If you could have one superpower, what would it be? (I know, unoriginal, but I am always fascinated by the answers!)
Would love to be like Storm from the XMen, yes, my hubs and the kids are comic book movie geeks! Storm can fly and create, well, storms. So, I could rain down hail on those who have shown me reasons to not be so loyal (See question above "What is your favorite character trait about yourself?" Mostly though, I could fly to work, avoiding all of the horrendous Atlanta traffic! But, I guess if I have superpowers, I might not need a job?

What is your favorite holiday?
Thanksgiving, it's always overlooked. It's stuffed right there in between the spooky, candy laden Halloween and the gimme gimme Christmas. I keep saying I am gonna start a campaign for Thanksgiving, bringing Thanksgiving back.

What is the last book you read?
Recently finished up Lysa Terkeurst's Unglued. A very powerful book. Lysa helped me to see that I am not the only woman who's emotions get out of sync from time to time.

If you could afford to hire someone to do one thing for you, what would it be?
Without even thinking, my fingers are typing COOKING.

Are you a morning person or a night owl?
